According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 29 million Americans have diabetes and 86 million Americans are at risk to develop the disease. Lauren Reeves, the Salem VA Medical Center’s Certified Diabetes Educator and Clinical Dietitian appeared on WFXR's Living Local in Virginia morning show to discuss what Salem VA Medical Center is doing to help Veterans that have diabetes and some ways to manage it.
